Founder Mingsong Qiu entered the mold manufacturing industry as an apprentice. At the time, on the eve of China’s WTO accession, the demand for skilled mold engineers was surging. Through dedication and exceptional learning ability, he mastered in one year what usually required three, and soon established an independent workshop

The Mingsong Plastic & Hardware Factory was officially founded, marking the transformation of the independent workshop into a full-scale manufacturing enterprise.

A new manufacturing facility was completed in Longshan Town, Cixi — the region’s hub for mold manufacturing. Its location within the local mold market provided significant cost advantages through easy access to equipment and materials. The company was officially renamed from Mingsong Plastic & Hardware Factory to Cixi TIANTEC Plastics

The company established its second manufacturing facility in Zhangqi Town, Cixi, also a central hub for mold manufacturing in the region. Collaborating closely with Plant No. 1, this expansion enables TIANTEC to provide customers with higher-quality and more cost-effective mold manufacturing services.

By 2025, the majority of TIANTEC’s products were already reaching the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia. However, direct participation in export remained limited, as most products were shipped as part of other export orders or through third-party trading companies.
